WILCON Depot has opened its 33rd branch in the Philippines on January 30 at Wilcon IT Hub Building on Pasong Tamo Extension in Makati City.
The company is a retail chain mainly selling a wide variety of home-building materials, including those used for plumbing, hardware, tools and other do-it-yourself items, such as electrical, building materials, doors and mouldings, automotive, paints and sundries and outdoor living.
The Wilcon Depot IT Hub Makati branch provides the customer various services, such as ample parking spaces, interior-design consultation, product installation, deliver services and tile-cutting services. Wilcon Depot built its first branch in Alabang, Las Piñas. It has 29 outlets in Luzon, two in Visayas and one in Mindanao.
The store opening was led by Wilcon Depot President and CEO William Belo, together with President of the Philippine Construction Association Delfin Wenceslao; SEVP-COO of Wilcon Depot Rosemarie Ong; Tessa Prieto-Valdez; and Makati City Rep., Monique Lagdameo.
The formal opening of the store was attended byWilcon’s international suppliers from China, Hong Kong and the US.
Ong cited customer loyalty in the continued expansion of their business.
Belo said that during their 37 years of operation, they have always sought to provide quality products to their customers at a lower priceHe said the newly opened branch is the tallest, with its 15-floor structure.
The company began operations in 1977.
