CIVIC Merchandising Inc. the exclusive distributor of leading brands in construction and mining equipment worldwide, recently exhibited its Sany heavy machineries.
As one of the largest equipment manufacturers in the world, the Chinese manufacturer’s goals have always been “building a first-class enterprise, fostering first-class talent and making a first-class contribution to humanity”. Founded in 1989, Sany Group Co. Ltd. currently has 25 manufacturing bases, six sales regions and over 100 offices with more than 400 agents and 8,000 suppliers worldwide.
With global research and development centers and manufacturing bases in the US, Germany, India and Brazil, Sany’s products are exported to 150 countries. In 2007 the company established the Sany Asia-Pacific Business Division covering Asean countries, including Australia, Hong Kong and Macau.
“We know that Sany is producing really high-quality products and machines and, together with Civic, we can provide you with a strong service support for the equipment. We will be able to help you [customers] succeed in your business. I’m looking forward to our partnership in the near future. The construction business in the country is really booming—exactly the right time for you to try our products and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed,” Civic Merchandising Inc. President Anthony Ngo said.
Among the three machineries displayed indoor was the SRC 350—a rough-terrain crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 35 tons, boom length of 31.5 meters and an overall weight of 32,300 kg. Sany’s rough-terrain cranes are all fitted with a four-wheel drive system and equipped with full hydraulic power steering with four steering modes to provide good mobility. Its minimum turning radius of less than 5.5 meters provides an advantage for complex road condition. It has a four-section boom with high strength steel structure and optimized U-shaped section that reduces weight, and improving safety significantly. Jib mounting angles are at 0, 15 and 30 degrees, which ensure fast and convenient changeover between different operating conditions.
Next was the 8 cubic meter truck mixer SY309C-8. Sany’s truck mixer is available in wide range of options to meet different requirements. This concrete mixer truck is fitted with ultra-high strength integrated auxiliary frame to ensure stability. Its three-section folded blade, innovative ball-crown structure and rear taper flushing device setting lowers the residue rate at discharge port. Propelling the truck is a 10.52-liter Hino P11C-UH engine generating 321hp at 2,100 rpm with 1,420 N-m of maximum torque at 1,100 rpm and coupled to a“fast gearbox”. Theoretical fuel consumption is measured at 35 L/100 km with a fuel tank capacity of 300 liters. Curb weight is at 14,800 kilograms, while the gross weight is 36,400 kg. Its drum has a mixing capacity of up to 9 cubic meters. Feeding speed is equivalent to 3 cubic meters per minute, while discharge speed is at 2 cubic meters per minute. Water tank capacity is 450 liters with water pressure of .35 to .38 mpa with a Rexroth hydraulic pump and motor.
The third and smallest on display was the HBT5008C-5S trailer pump. Sany’s concrete trailer pumps run on electric, diesel and ultra-high pressure for sites utilization. These trailer-mounted pumps proved to be worthy with superior performance in various applications. Tested in various extreme weather conditions such as in Moscow at -22 degrees, in Dubai at 55 degrees and a 12-hour continuous pumping. Moreover, it can also pump tough concretes like B90, C150, and three-graduation concrete. Maximum output is at 50 cubic meter per hour. It is fitted with self-diagnosis technology, monitoring the pump status at any time, as well as diagnosing more than 50 faults in real-time. Thus, capable of reducing trouble time by 70 percent. Engine output is rated at 74 hp with a gross weight of 3,950 kg.
Meanwhile, lined up outside were various Sany hoisting machineries. There was the SCC550 crawler crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 55 tons. Its boom length is 13 hp to 52 meters with a buffing angle of 30 to 80 degrees and fixed jib offset angle at 10 to 30 degrees. Powered by a Cummins QSB5.9-C210 motor generating 206 hp at 2,200 rpm and 800 N-m of maximum torque at 1,400 rpm. Another was the STC750 truck crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 75 tons and weights 46,000 kg. Base boom length is at 11.8 meters with full extent at 45 meters, while the full extent plus jib is at 61 meters with five boom section and U-shape. Also powered by a Cummins motor generating 368 hp at 2,100 rpm and 1,550 N-m of maximum torque at 1,200 rpm.
