OIL firms on Monday announced a price rollback in petroleum products, following three consecutive weeks of increase.
The price of gasoline products will be reduced by P0.20 per liter, kerosene by P0.40 per liter and diesel by P0.30 per liter.
The price adjustments will be implemented by Shell, PTT and Eastern Petroleum at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24.
Other oil firms will follow suit.
On April 18 oil firms increased gasoline prices by P0.45 per liter, diesel by P0.65 per liter and kerosene by P0.60 per liter. They also implemented a P0.90 per liter hike in diesel and P1.10 per liter increase in gasoline on April 11.
A week before that, diesel and gasoline prices went up by P0.35 per liter.
