Horsepower launches tool for white collars
FINANCIAL technology company Horsepower.ph Services Inc. recently introduced a program targeted to the Filipino freelancers, self-employed professionals and micro, small and medium enterprises owners who need to provide their own health-care benefits on top of their Social Security System, Philippine Health Insurance Corp. and Home Development Mutual Fund contributions. For a fee, which can start at P999 a year, its members can avail themselves of managed health-care services through a prepaid health card that can be shared with dependents. Members who want a higher grade of health coverage can sign up for packages that comes with up to P100,000 maximum benefit limit per sickness.
Amdocs bares new product portfolio
CUSTOMER experience solutions (CES) provider Amdocs Ltd. unveiled on April 22 its latest product portfolio release called CES 10, the firm says is designed to speed up telecommunications company’s digital transformation and outpace the industry. The company said its portfolio introduces solutions, including an implementation framework with prepackaged business support systems/operations support systems, big-data capabilities and business processes, “which have been specifically designed to launch best-practice multiplay operations in under a year.” The solutions also “enable telcos to meet the industry’s disruptive trends of changing customer and business behaviors, leveraging customer data, digital interactions and new engagement channels.
Neeyamo goes live with SAP HR I.T. tool
HUMAN-resources (HR) outsourcing services and solutions provider Neeyamo Inc. announced on April 20 it has gone live with the SAP AG SuccessFactors Employee Central Service Center (SF ECSC) solution across its India, US and Philippines operations. Launched recently, SAP SF ECSC is an HR help desk that integrates with another solution by the company, “providing a central place for employees and HR service representatives to view, request, store, share, organize and prioritize all HR-related information and issues.”
Pointwest touts Hall of Fame award
POINTWEST Technologies Corp. was recently named as the best Filipino-owned company of the year in the recent 10th International ICT Awards Philippines. The recent citation elevates Pointwest into the ICT Hall of Fame for that category. President and CEO Ma. Cristina Coronel credited Pointwest’s achievement and growth as the factors for the recognition. Coronel said the firm has been able to grow organically offering new services, acquiring new clients, growing its head count, expanding its geographical reach and adding new delivery centers. Last year Pointwest launched its mobile applications “Arko” and “Easimed.”
