PANASONIC, with its roster of different affiliates and partners, have launched its new line of camcorders specially built to cater to every videographer’s need.
P2 & Friends Manila took place on Wednesday last week at the Solaire Resorts and Casino Hotel attended by members of the trimedia, electronics industry, information-technology sectors and camera enthusiasts.
Panasonic is a brand most people have come to trust over the years. There is truth to this statement mainly because Panasonic has been providing both businesses and consumers alike with a variety of products since it started. From just manufacturing plugs and sockets in 1918, Panasonic has now become an electronics giant which continues to evolve and adapt products with the changing times.
With its evolution comes the introduction of their new HD camera line, one of which is the AG-DVX200, a 4K handheld camcorder which combines a mirror-less camera with a video recorder, making it easier for a person to capture and edit photos and videos in high-definition quality. If that is not impressive enough, Panasonic has also come up with a way on how you can transfer videos and images using their camcorders instantly, too. Shoot using a Panasonic camcorder now and it goes straight to your computer without having to plug your memory card or connector.
In 2004 Panasonic has created the P2 line which they have developed and continue to do so up till this day. P2 is a streaming software that they have flawlessly embedded in their camcorder memory cards enabling the videographer to stream their footage in real time without sacrificing quality. Using a server that Panasonic calls “cloud,” which can also be found in their AVC-Ultra codec line, broadcasting stations can now view what their videographers are filming on the spot instantly, from the camcorder then to cloud for processing and then to the station for utilization. Businesses can now finish their outputs in less time without having to compromise on quality and they also save more money.
Those were some of the product specificities and unique selling points that were among the key topics presented at the P2 & Friends event by speakers of Panasonic from all over the globe.
Supachai Chansayawad, head of product marketing for broadcast, imaging network business division, Panasonic system solution Asia Pacific, said, “Nowadays, broadcasters do not only need to move toward digital broadcasting but also IT-based technology, as well. Because P2 equipment are using file-based technology, they are already digital and IT converged by nature.”
Panasonic Philippines also showcased some of their newest projectors, LCD and LED screens at the said event where attendees could actually see how clear images were and how superb the cinematic quality of outputs can be when used with Panasonic products.
Chansayawad also reminded their customers, both consumers and businesses,“that we are a real system company [that] always seeks out solutions for our customers. Panasonic broadcast customers always have a chance to choose the complimentary equipment out of their own preferences,” he said.
