ELECTRONIC toll-collection solutions provider Easytrip Services Corp. and flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) on Thursday penned a memorandum of agreement to extend PAL’s frequent-flyer program to users of the North Luzon Expressway, the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway and the Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway.
The agreement will allow Easytrip subscribers to earn PAL Mabuhay Miles each time they use their Easytrip tag or EasyDrive sticker tag to pay toll at any of the three expressways managed by Metro Pacific Investments Corp.
“Easytrip’s commitment of continuously improving the motorists’ experience through convenient travel will be further enhanced with this partnership,” Easytrip President and CEO Eugene S. Antonio said in a briefing in Makati City.
The promo will run from September 30 to December 31. Customers can use miles earned from their road trips to book flights—whether domestic or international. “The partnership agreement aims to bring more value to the Filipino motorists’ experience at the toll roads,” PAL President Jaime J. Bautista said.
