JPV Marikina and Ilocos United try to end their skids when they take on each other today in the Philippines Football League (PFL) at the Quirino Stadium in Vigan City.
The Ilocanos host the Marikina Booters at 4 p.m.
JPV is coming off a 16-day break and will try to arrest a four-game losing streak capped by back-to-back losses to Stallion Laguna as it seeks to assert its mastery over Ilocos, which it beat, 2-0, at home on June 4 and 2-1 on June 21 on the road.
The Marikina-based squad has 18 points to occupy fifth place on the table.
Ilocos United, on the other hand, is licking a 1-2 setback to Global Cebu at the Cebu Sports Complex last Sunday.
The Ilocos side is still searching for the elusive first win as they already lost 11 matches for three points it earned from draws.
