Four days ago, Kaya Makati scored a 5-2 win over Ilocos United behind Jordan Mintah’s hat trick at the University of Makati Stadium. The Makati-based team tries to reassert its mastery of Ilocos, this time in a road game at 7 p.m.
Kaya already won four straight matches for 23 points, while Ilocos lost eight games with only three points—all from draws.
Stallion Laguna, meanwhile, takes on skidding JPV Marikina at the Rizal Memorial Stadium at 4 p.m.
Stallion Laguna beat Marikina, 2-0, in Biñan last Wednesday for its first win in the league. The team has seven losses and four draws.
All JPV defenders are expected to gang up on Stallion striker Jesus Melliza, who scored two goals in the their last outing. JPV has lost its last three matches to remain in fifth place.
