Diana Stalder is not just a brand. It is the name of a real person.
Diana Stalder is a registered pharmacist and aesthetician, and the daughter of Dina dela Paz-Stalder. The apple really doesn’t fall far from the tree because the daughter followed her mother into the pharmacy, cosmetics and beauty business. Dina, the president and CEO of Diana Stalder Face, Body, Skin Care and Beauty Café, first concocted her potions in a stainless-steel pot. She then established what was then named Dermaline Facial and Skin Care Center.
Dina, a registered pharmacist and aesthetician, owned Beauchamps Pharmacy. In 1999 she established BCP Dermatological Corp. to be the marketing arm to distribute her beauty products, and the Stalder Laboratories Inc. as the manufacturing arm. Diana Stalder Face, Body, Skin Care and Beauty Café (www.dianastalder.com) has been in the industry for 21 years. Aside from high-quality beauty products, like soap, creams and lotions, Diana Stalder also provides excellent services from basic care to antiacne, antiaging, whitening and other medical procedures, all the way to high quality and luxurious treatments. Diana Stalder now has five branches and counting, and her own skin-care manufacturing company, which boasts of a CGMP certification (which refers to the Good Manufacturing Practice regulations enforced by the Food and Drug Administration).
“It’s better than an ISO certification,” Dina said.
At Diana Stalder, all treatments start with a thorough skin evaluation.
“We are a favorite of various local coupon sites because we never skimp on our facial supreme treatment; it’s always 15 steps,” Dina says with pride.
Aside from a skin-care center, Diana Stalder at Gateway Mall, which recently marked its third anniversary, also includes the dS Café, a restaurant and juice bar. “I love cooking and the food I serve here is also food that I enjoy,” Dina said. “And for me, it’s okay to eat anything as long as it is in moderation.”
Dina’s philosophy for the café and juice bar is to serve food that’s healthy but also tasty.
The café offers salads, sandwiches and various meals, all adhering to specific calorie counts and included healthy amounts of vegetables, protein and healthy carbs, so diners can make informed choices.
Dina’s beauty philosophy is that combining skin treatments and healthy eating yields positive results.
Since dS Café promotes a healthy way of life, Dina has added two new healthy meals. A Spinach Salad with Shrimp and Quail Eggs, which contains 391 calories, and (fat-free) Pork Chops with Mushrooms, which contains 399 calories. Dina is also a strong advocate for causes, such as the environment and community development. The company’s manufacturing facility in her hometown in Laguna provides employment and housing for people there.
In June Dina was named one of the honorees for Vice President Maria Leonor G. Robredo’s development program “Istorya ng Pag-Asa”, a program that aims, among other things, to inspire less privileged youth to never give up on their dreams, as well as provide scholarship opportunities.
Dina continues to hone her craft. She and Diana constantly research and keep up with trends by attending courses, completing certifications and learning about all aspects relating to body care and skin care in Canada, Spain, Switzerland, the UK and the US.
In line with the third anniversary of their Gateway branch, Diana Stalder Face, Body, Skin Care Center is offering discounts on their luxury treatments from July to September.
Many of the treatments are from Casmara, an innovative luxury beauty brand from Spain.
