What climate change?

THE Climate Change Commission Philippines, which under the Office of the President, says it is getting a budget of P13 billion in 2014, up from P1 billion in 2011. The reason, according to the World Wide Fund for Nature, is that “the Philippines is considered as one of the most vulnerable countries to climate change.”

The Sangguniang Kabataan is back

IN 2013 Congress passed a measure that postponed the holding of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK or Youth Council) elections for a year. The idea was that Congress would use that year to craft legislation that would amend the SK system, one way or another. For a moment, it seemed that change was finally coming for the SK. Only it didn’t.
