Malacañang is moving to address floods in Metro Manila and key Luzon areas with several “high-impact, high-priority projects,” but the results cannot be felt overnight and will require cooperation from all concerned, Palace officials said on Wednesday.

BUSINESSMAN Manny V. Pangilinan and the top brass of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on Wednesday signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) that aims to improve and widen the services of the AFP Medical Center (AFPMC) in V. Luna, Quezon City.

HEEDING the request of Public Works Secretary Rogelio Singson, Sen. Loren Legarda will file a bill in the 16th Congress seeking to create a “superbody” that would coordinate all of the country’s agencies involved in water management.
