955 farmers want share in Tadeco land

A TOTAL of 955 individuals are seeking recognition as potential beneficiaries of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program Extension with Reform (CARPer) for the 358 hectares of land of the Tarlac Development Corp. (Tadeco), an official of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) said on Wednesday. Agrarian Reform Undersecretary for Legal Affairs Anthony Parungao said the DAR will continue to accept applications for Tadeco’s CARP-covered lands even as he said that the DAR Tarlac Office is now moving to start the screening and validation process to identify the qualified farmer-beneficiaries.
