MORE than 270 guests, mostly senior executives of local and foreign businesses, as well as members of social and business groups with connections to the local bilateral chambers, converged for the International Food Exhibition European Networking Night (Ifex ENN), which was held on May 18.
The event was a project of the European Philippine Business Network and organized by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines (CCI France Philippines), Italian Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ICCP) and the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines. Together with the organizers, the European Delegation also cofunded the gathering.
CCI France Philippines Managing Director Vanessa Hans and ICCP Executive Director Lorens Ziller welcomed the guests, who included stakeholders from the international and local food scene. In his speech, European Union Ambassador Franz Jessen highlighted the fact that the food and beverage sector is currently the fastest-growing industry in the Philippines.
Guests enjoyed fine wine and drinks, along with delectable dishes served throughout the night.
Aside from being able to network, guests were indulged with raffle prizes from The Zen Institute Art+ Magazine and Liquid Gold.
The Ifex ENN was organized in conjunction with the staging of the Ifex Philippines 2017, held from May 19 to 21 at the World Trade Center. The event aimed to bring together the Chamber’s network of businessmen, as well as participants and exhibitors of the Ifex 2017. It offered an ideal platform for guests to grow their contacts, share their expertise and develop business opportunities.
