Defending champion Bambi Zoleta may not have brought her A-game on Wednesday but her endurance, mixed with a bit of luck, was enough to turn back the less-experienced Jasmine Tan Ho, 6-4, 6-4, in the ladies singles second round of the 28th Philippine Columbian Association (PCA) Open at the PCA indoor clay-shell courts in Plaza Dilao, Paco, Manila.

OUCH! It’s been four days since “Firepower” and I still have mental replays of Jose Miguel Cotto’s banged up face in my “daymares.”

Visions of a still-upbeat Manny Pacquiao in the postfight with his ear bandaged mummy-like because of injuries sustained from a Cotto coup certainly makes me wince a little bit more.
