Yellow Cab Pizza stands out for its New York style crust, large portions, generous toppings, and eye-catching bright yellow Vespa delivery scooters. But what exactly makes Yellow Cab’s pizza so great?
At a recent tour of Yellow Cab’s kitchen at their Megamall branch, Yellow Cab Marketing and International Projects Manager, Alexandra Bustalino, showed select members of the press how their products are all prepared with premium ingredients. The dough is made fresh in-store, not frozen, and only kneaded and rolled upon order. The vegetables are delivered fresh daily, including the button mushrooms which are not from the can. The selection of cheeses is all natural, not processed and only grated within a few hours from topping any pizza.
To consistently serve excellent quality products, Yellow Cab sources ingredients from premier reputable suppliers and partners with reliable brands, such as Anchor.
Fonterra Brands Philippines, the distributor of Anchor provides Yellow Cab with a variety of cheeses, cream, and butter for several of their tasty their menu offerings. “Anchor cheeses are made with fresh New Zealand cow’s milk using natural cheese making processes resulting in excellent stretch for mozzarella, and rich, strong flavors for Parmesan. Anchor Culinary Cream is pure, fresh cream which gives outstanding dairy flavor and added stability resulting in smooth and creamy sauces, soups, and dishes,” Pauline Lagdameo, Fonterra Brands Philippines advisory chef describes. “We found the perfect partner in Fonterra, as we share the same dedication to quality and freshness. With each of their products, we are confident that our strict product quality standards are never compromised,” says Alexandra.
Yellow Cab Pizza Co. opened its first outlet in Makati in 2001. Ten years of Great Pizza has seen this chain grow into a network of 86 branches in the Philippines, with recently established outlets in Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
