TASTE and sophistication are things you normally cannot buy, but based on what Blims Fine Furniture recently unveiled at its 2012 Luxe Living showcase at The Gallery in Greenbelt 5 Makati, one will likely be convinced otherwise.

The Blims 2012 Luxe Living furniture line gives buyers the opportunity to adorn their home or business establishment with furniture fit for royalty.  The recent launch of the new line on September 30 was a major success with some of the Philippines’ top honchos in interior design, architecture, business and lifestyle in attendance.

Some of those who graced the event included Philippine School of Interior Design director and editor in chief of My Home Magazine Jie Pambid, who is also the event partner; Product Development Design Center of the Philippines executive director Myrna Sunico; and Management Association of the Philippines vice president Elizabeth Lee. Blims Fine Furniture executive vice president Carrie Lim and business development manager Sam Gregory Lim presided over the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

“Luxe Living is luxurious design at a reasonable price.  A great value, indeed.  Good taste need not be expensive with Blims!”  Wendy’s Philippines president Yvette Pardo-Orbeta, who is also Philippine Franchise Association president, enthused.

Blims’ new line features three collections, the Tusk, Amphibios and Royal Oak, which include a wide range of luxurious choices that will certainly transform your space into a room straight out of the pages of a magazine. These pieces are all designed uniquely to cater to the sophisticated tastes of discriminating clients who know exactly what they want.

The Tusk collection features furniture made of industrial and natural materials. The collection incorporates the warm and inviting feel of wood and textiles with the cold and sturdy look of industrial materials like steel. Each piece is designed with a rustic yet contemporary, sleek and practical vibe. Suffice it to say, this collection is truly a minimalist’s dream.

With the Amphibios collection, Blims presents the best of Italian furniture. The collection shows a richness in texture that is very appealing especially to those who love age-old European furniture without the gaudy and over-designed feel. This is because the collection features cast wooden bases and chrome legs which help create a chic and contemporary look that is typical in Italian designs.

For those in search of a luxurious but sustainable way of living, Blims offers its  Royal Oak collection which features the same stylish and exquisite furniture designs evident in the Luxe Living furniture line. The uniqueness of this collection lies in the sustainable materials used to create these elegant pieces which promote “green living.” This collection brings together the best of nature and elegance in your home.

The last two collections, the Amphibios and Royal Oak collections, feature pieces by the brand Cellini. The company is considered a market leader in modern and stylish furniture design and has over 50 showrooms worldwide.  Its signature designs can be found in top-name luxury hotels.

Apart from these collections, Blims also presented the 2012 La-Z-Boy Signature Collection from La-Z-Boy, the company that believes that “comfort is not only a recliner.” The new collection features a wide range of static furniture blending outstanding ergonomics and design that depict beauty from every angle. The collection exudes the aura of utmost comfort and relaxation.

La-Z-Boy recliners feature quality construction, the finest materials, wear-tested fabrics and new innovations. This has made them the preferred recliner choice for generations. With the signature collection, the company has puts its expertise into static sofas, sectionals, armchairs, corner units and ottomans.
