The University of the Philippines Alumni Association recently had a fund-raising golf tournament for their beloved UP Fighting Maroons at the Wack Wack Golf Club.

The organizers were actually expecting around 60 players to show up but they had over 100 players contributing to the cause and joining in the fun!

The awarding ceremony was also well attended with nongolfers arriving to share in the camaraderie like former coach Joe Lipa and some current members of the basketball team, led by Mike Silungan.

The event was also very well supported by sponsors, with Petron, Smart, Unilever, San Miguel Brewery, Bingo Bonanza, San Marino, Pagcor, CVC Law, Maynilad, Nissan Gallery, Meralco, Filoil and DBP leading the way.

It clearly showed that in every endeavor of the group, they will always have that fighting spirit UP is known for.
