THERE are more reasons for owners of the two exotic Italian cars to relish their priced possessions.
That’s because recently, Autostrada Motore, the official importer of Ferrari and Maserati in the country, finally inaugurated its newly renovated service center. Situated along Quingua Street in Makati City, the service center is just a few blocks away from the Bonifacio Global City showroom.
“Our work doesn’t end when a client buys a car and drives out of the showroom,” Autostrada Chairman and President Wellington Soong said. True enough, since owning these fine machines also entail the commitment to maintain it in tip-top condition. “We make sure that our clients enjoy every driving experience with different Ferrari and the Maserati model variants. The after-sales and service aspects are very important and we are committed to deliver the best to all our clients.”
The modernized building façade now flaunts the huge illuminated logos and signage of the famous Italian automakers. Then again, the building’s makeover was not merely for presentation purposes. But more important, the service center has been renovated in accordance to Ferrari and Maserati’s up-to-date guidelines on equipment, workmanship and services. Inside, you’ll see specific zones strategically positioned for a better service flow. First, the “prediagnosis area” in the left portion of the hall, where a conventional pressurized lifter is on standby for preliminary checkups to determine the maintenance work to be done.
Then, there’s the spacious “work bay area” subdivided into separate sections with three electric lifters, two service pits and an open zone for all the under chassis, engine, mechanical, electrical and all other fixes.
There are even two clean rooms for the assembly and dedicated diagnostics equipment issued by Ferrari and Maserati. Of course, all these are manned and operated by factory-trained and certified technicians. What is more, there’s even a car-wash area to make sure that your car leaves the facility spanking clean—like nothing happened.
Likewise, within the 1,000-square-meter facility is a distinct lounge area enough for clients to feel comfortable while waiting for their exotics being serviced. The room is full of Ferrari memorabilia and interesting books, plus comfy leather sofas, too. And there’s the reception area and office spaces for trained staff—all ready to attend to any inquiries you may have.
As for the employees, the administrative center also has training and conference rooms, where they can conduct the web seminars.
Autostrada employs only the best technicians trained at various training centers around the world to provide the first-rate technical knowledge. Not to mention, the most exclusive and advanced technology authorized by Ferrari and Maserati. This ensures that all the work performed at the facility use genuine parts and dedicated diagnostics. Therefore, all vehicles are repaired and maintained to the highest level of standards in performance, reliability and safety.
Ferrari offers a seven-year maintenance service for every vehicle sold since 2010, which is the most extensive program in the industry, along with the factory Power warranty extension for up to 12 years. Maserati vehicles, on the other hand, come with a three-year service maintenance program, and a three-year commercial warranty, which can be extended further to five years.
