ROXAS CITY—Aiming to capture a broader target market in Northern Panay, Ford Iloilo, under Fairway Automotive Ventures Inc., recently struck a partnership with Pueblo de Panay Inc., a real estate and property developer based in Roxas City, Capiz Province, to put up the first Ford branch in the region inside the Pueblo de Panay township development.
“There is a growing demand for automotive products and services in the northern part of Panay Island that we want to take advantage of,” Ford Western Visayas Operations Head Leo Villavert said.
“We find Roxas City an ideal and strategic location for expansion in Northern Panay because it is currently experiencing a massive economic boom. There are currently 250 units in operation in Roxas City and we are targeting about eight to 10 units sold per month once this branch opens,” he said.
The new 1500-square-meter Ford Roxas City will mainly be a parts, service and auto-body repair center, but will also have a sizable showroom for prospective buyers.
Ford Roxas City will cater to a larger target market in Northern Panay Island, namely, Kalibo in Aklan, Roxas City in Capiz, and Estancia and Carles in Northern Iloilo.
Ford Roxas City will be across the Pueblo de Panay TechnoPark, a 7-hectare lot that has been declared earlier this year as a Philippine Economic Zone Authority Special Economic Zone under Proclamation 1034, making it the first Information Technology-Business-Process Management Park in Northern Panay.
“We are very happy with this latest addition to the Pueblo de Panay township. With the opening of Ford Roxas City, hopefully by the end of this year, we expect foot traffic to increase inside this commercial business district,” Pueblo de Panay Inc. Vice President for Marketing Hannibal Ong said.
Pueblo de Panay Inc. (PDPI) is a subsidiary of Sacred Heart of Jesus Prime Holdings Inc. (SHJPHI), whose more than two decades of impeccable and successful track record in real estate and property development in Northern Panay Island has made it an industry leader in the area.
SHJPHI is poised to sustain its significant role in countryside development as the region’s pioneer player through its multibillion-peso flagship project—Pueblo de Panay.
Pueblo de Panay is a 400-hectare mixed-use and master-planned township development at the heart of the country’s seafood capital, Roxas City, Capiz Province, Panay Island. As a proponent of local eco-tourism and countryside development, SHJPHI, through PDPI, is committed to develop Pueblo de Panay into a world-class multifaceted township, sought-after travel and leisure destination with pedestrian and bicycle-oriented developments, and a progressive business district.
The company aims to foster not only economic growth, but also cultural, historical, artistic, educational and culinary advancement in the Northern Panay region.
