Leading preneed company Eternal Plans Inc. (EPI) celebrates its 36th anniversary today, March 3, at Citystate Hotel, Ermita, Manila. The theme of the celebration, “A Legacy of Commitment Continues…”, reaffirms the mission of its founder, Ambassador Antonio L. Cabangon Chua, to improve the lives of Filipinos.
Initially offering a life plan to complement the memorial-lot business of sister company Eternal Gardens, Eternal Plans is one of two or three preneed companies licensed to offer life, pension and education plans. Since it was established in 1981, it has paid billions of pesos in plan benefits to thousands of planholders.
The company takes pride in honoring its commitments to plan holders, despite the crisis that shook the preneed industry in past years, T. Anthony C. Cabangon, chairman of the board, said in a message on the occasion. “Eternal Plans is a company who honors its commitments to its valued clients despite the challenges that come its way,” he noted.
During the event, top sales performers of the company for 2016 will be recognized. They are led by Golden Tree Awardees Gina F. Ronquillo, of special sales projects, for institutional sale; and Mark Alfred S. Ortiz of Davao, for regular sales. Both were recipients of the same awards last year.
Eternal Plans is the only preneed company that offers a micro preneed product approved by the Insurance Commission. The life plan provides complete memorial services at a price affordable
to the poor.
