ETERNAL Gardens, a pioneer in memorial-care services in the country, honored members of its sales team on Tuesday, at the Citystate Hotel Manila for the company’s continued success.
The awards night was dubbed “Our Pillars of Success.”
“For the past 10 years, our Eternal Gardens agents worked so hard that in 2015, we successfully duplicated the P400-million mark of 2014. The remarkable people behind this team are all here tonight and it’s time to recognize them officially,” Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Eternal Gardens, Jose Antonio V. Rivera said.
Commissioner and CEO of the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board Antonio M. Bernardo, the event’s guest of honor, credited all awardees and gave all the winners plaques and cash prizes.
“I would also like to congratulate all the awardees. You have done well and you deserve the honor given to you tonight. With men and women like you, with your Chairman Edgard Cabangon, there is no doubt Eternal Gardens will continue to expand and scale greater heights,” Bernardo said.
The awardees included those who have earned their right to be called Hall of Famers, sales managers coming from different branches who accumulated or exceeded P200 million in sales. Three women bagged the honor.
The hall of fame achievers included Helen L. Abesa, the top agency manager for 2015 who sold between P75 million to P200 million in sales within a year, especially in selling family-estate property; Gloria E. Sanchez, who won back-to-back top agency manager awards for the years 2008 to 2009, was cited for her P200-million sales production; and Saturnina G. Alcantara held the highest sales ranking, generating P52 million in 2015.
The company also paid tribute to the founder and chairman emeritus, Ambassador Antonio L. Cabangon Chua, who passed away on March 11.
“I’d like to congratulate the winners who did very well. We are here to honor you. I’d like to take this opportunity to share with you something important to the family. Our father is bigger than life, such a strong character, a strong presence. You know our father was born poor, but with sheer hard work and prayers to the Lord, he was able to build this Eternal Gardens and the ALC. The least we can do is approximate or at least exceed what our father has done and achieved. And we need the support of all of you,” T. Anthony C. Cabangon, director of Eternal Gardens, said in his message.
