FOUR walls do not make a home, it’s about how you personalize it that matters. While most developments have the cookie-cutter approach, East Gallery Place by Ayala Land Premiere (ALP) offers something that might be of interest for those looking to live a little bit differently.
Aside from the usual condo units with their fixed spaces, this latest ALP project in Bonifacio Global City has three floors of what they call Flex units. These are apartments ranging from 86 square meter to 142 sq m that do not have ready-made interior partitions, so they can be easily transformed into spaces depending on the needs of the homeowner. There are at least six suggested configurations for the unit, so buyers can look into which one fits them best.
The units are practically blank canvases, where the homeowner is that artist who decides the final layout of the living space. Three celebrities recently got to experience carving out their own identities in a model unit, bringing in their distinct personalities and professions to the fore.
Model-turned-photographer Jo Ann Bitagcol decorated her sample with huge framed pieces that are significant to her life. She also transformed the space into something sleek, modern and fit for her needs as artist-in-residence. Jewelry designer Joyce Makitalo maximized her unit as a workshop and display case for her chunky jewelry pieces that are currently making waves with fashionistas in society. Chef Gino Gonzales says he loves entertaining at home, and thus made full use of the kitchen and living room area as his space to hold intimate parties for his fellow foodies.
The three demos were able to show how flexible the condo units are. “All of these residential spaces were designed to evolve as the buyer progresses in life. The units were designed in consideration of his or her varying life stages,” says Jose Juan Z. Jugo, Ayala Land vice president.
He adds that East Gallery Place is also a residence that builds on the Ayala Land Premier legacy of delivering products that build value over time. “We create residences of the highest quality and design that are valued today and in the generations to come.” Among the other Ayala Premier properties that have turned out to be good investments are Makati’s Forbes Park, Magallanes Village, Dasmariñas Village, plus Ayala Alabang and Ayala Heights. The thrust of their developments go beyond providing shelter, he says.
“We are building communities; we are defining lifestyles.”
This new innovation in real-estate development has already captured the imagination of the market. At the moment, 70 percent of the East Gallery Place units have already been presold. Turnover is scheduled for 2019.
