Her husband told her to fill out the coupon because she had the lucky hand between the two of them. True enough, Divinagracia Mariano did have the lucky hand, because the coupon she filled out was the winning slip in Petron and BusinessMirror’s promo to send a pair of Petron loyal patrons to Singapore.

Divinagracia and husband Ernesto Mariano will be firsthand witnesses to the most exciting Formula One Grand Prix in the whole series, the Singtel F1 Night Race Grand Prix.

The race will be held on street tracks built around Marina Bay right smack in the middle of the city state of Singapore on September 25. But before that, a whole program of events, from concerts to day and night fair, will be available to everyone who are watching the event beginning practice day September 23.

The lucky couple are now in Singapore, savoring their first-ever trip to the country, and as luck would have it, even watching the most exciting auto race in the world to date.

Red Rock Travel, travel partner of Petron and BusinessMirror for this event, even threw in a free trip to the Universal Studio Theme Park and Sentosa Park for the pair to further enhance their Singapore experience.

Ernesto Mariano drives a 1996 Toyota Corolla, which he acquired through a car plan from his previous employers. They loaded fuel at the Petron Station along Macapagal Highway in Pasay on September 12, but wife Divinagracia only decided to drop the stub on September 14 at the Petron Station at SM San Lazaro.

The two will be living at the Bayview Hotel for the duration of their stay and will watch the races from the best vantage in the whole circuit, the Marina Bay Grandstand fronting the grand Marina Bay Sands Hotel right across the bay.

“This is our first time to go to Singapore, and we are so lucky because we are going there for the F1 race and the concerts,” exclaimed Divinagracia. The couple will be watching international entertainers Linkin’ Park, Shakira and Boy George live at the concert center in Zone 4 of the race circuit.
