THE BusinessMirror has thrown its support behind the Golf Distributors Association of the Philippines’ (GDAP) 16th Philippine International Golf Show that opens on Friday at the SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

“It is our privilege to support the longest-running golf show in Asia,” said the BusinessMirror VP for Advertising Ricky Alegre.

The event is the biggest gathering of major golf brands such as Nike Golf, Adams Golf, Bridgestone Golf, Ping, Mizuno, Taylor Made, US Kids, Foot Joy, Titleist, Maruman, Fourteen, Callaway, Phiten, Oakley and Loro which are set to give the best deals during the show.

The three-day golf show is expected to attract thousands of golf aficionados from different parts of the country who may participate in the featured activities including longest drive contest, iPING putting challenge, raffle and a free seminar for golf-course managers by Prof. Robert Morris, a horticulture specialist and associate professor emeritus of University of Nevada.

GDAP members Acro Golf, Aetna Manila, Besa’s Shoes, Great Depot, Pacsports, Pauline’s Group Inc., Master Sports, Raymundo’s Trophies and Sculptures, RMA Trading and Transview Golf lead the roster of companies who have filled up more than 100 booths in the show.

“With over 100 booths, this is definitely the best place to shop whether for an equipment upgrade or for gifts to fellow golfers, family or friends,” said GDAP President Raymund Atendido.
