A total of 46 containers containing various items, including used vehicles and e-bikes, with an estimated amount of more than P27 million, will be sold through public auction by the Bureau of Customs (BOC) at the Manila International Container Port (MICP) next week.
According to the MICP Auction and Cargo Disposal Division, the BOC is expected to garner a total of P27,745,493.90 in the bidding of the seized items totalling 24 lots on December 14.
Among the items to be sold are one used Honda CRV 2000 model pegged at P150,000; one used Toyota car 1986 model valued at P36,000; one unit of Chevrolet Venture with a floor price of P30,000; and two units of used passenger car (Hyundai Starex ambulance 2003 model) with a floor price of P848,000.
Other vehicles include three 40-footer containers containing one unit electric car and nine electric passenger multicab, two scooter bikes and one unit all-terrain vehicle with a floor price of P1,028,170.50 and three units of e-bike with a floor price of P60,000.
Other goods to be sold in the auction are one 40-footer container containing computer CPUs and computer parts (mouse, keyboard) at a floor price of P3,360,000.
Also up for bidding are two forty footer containers of Alejandrino I, a wine product of Spain, with a floor price of P1,901,400.
Other merchandise to be auctioned include glass bottles, golf bags, galvanized steel sheets and clothing apparel.
Public viewing of merchandise and pre-bid conference is on December 12 and 13.
