IT is my first time to own a cat and I am noticing some huge similarities between felines and women. It’s written here in such a way to help other women in their dating scenarios.
Cats don’t live to please; they do as they please. You don’t see any cat begging for approval of their master. You would be lucky if your cat is so inclined to like belly rubs and actually comes to you when you call it. A cat has her own agenda and, when it comes to life, so do women. We have our goals, our plans. And if a man can’t fit into the schedule, then so be it. If he really wants to be with you, he can squeeze in between pilot’s training and the office work.
Cats look good. Take a look at any cat at rest and you will see the meaning of lounging in style. Resting for cats is effortless; like nothing can shake the peace out of it.
Cats move with grace whether they run or lounge, their long limbs and effortless grace resound with artistry and sophistication.
In true woman fashion, it is in being at rest that beauty becomes self-evident. We don’t have to prove anything, wear ostentatious or glittery things. We are who we are.
Cats keep clean in their body and surroundings. Unlike dogs, which can step on their excrement and lie in their piss without a fuss, cats know their body is their temple.
Cats clean after themselves. That being said, they also poop in the right places and make sure to cover their dirt in consideration for others.
Women also are meticulous about their hygiene and tend to keep a clean home and work space. They have a conscientiousness that is an extension of their thoughtfulness to others.
Cats have great reflexes and are aware of their environment. Cats have an almost intuitive response to danger.
Though the cat is sitting, she can hear things going on all around, and will respond when any of these things become pertinent to her well-being.
Somehow a cat can zone out the background noise and manage to be aware when something is amiss. Just like a woman is always aware of her surroundings, keen but confident, until such time when she must draw up her observations for the “kill.”
Examples of these include your wife noticing how you lingered a bit too long with the check-out girl at the counter. Likewise, she can help out the kids with a question while cooking and making a report on her laptop. She is master of her environment.
Cats should be cuddled with care. Cats are nice but you always have to keep a look out for when she gets too excited or hurt and might show some claws.
Like men who try to chase her, they are careful to always respect the woman because a wrong move could spell a short encounter with nature’s finest predator or her simply slinking away.
Longevity is no guarantee. No matter how long you have been feeding your cat, you are still not entitled to her full attention like a dog gives. She will still not follow you—if she does at all.
You do have, at the very least, the pleasure of her company. She is there. There are certain nonnegotiables that you should have understood at the beginning. She has and always will be her own cat.
Cats hiss and stand their ground. While dogs bark a lot and move around to attack, cats in the hunt simply strike.
Or else, they will toy with their prey until they get tired and eat it. When threatened however, they will hiss to warn the threat, and attack only when necessary. They aren’t out to fight, but they will protect themselves when provoked.
Like women, they do not have ego wars of territory and do not try to one up anyone. If anything is problematic, they are likely to take it lightly until they finally decide to put an end to the problem. Like women being open about their feelings or problems, it is a warning that something is amiss. If proper corrections arent made, then the woman sets out to obliterate the problem. She has her family, dignity or loved ones to protect, and that she will gladly fight for.
Cats always land on their feet. Like most women who have suffered more loss and endured more hardship, she always finds the strength to keep walking, and keep her center on the important things: her faith, her family, and timeless principles of integrity that never go wrong.
