AYALA Land Inc. (ALI) won six major awards at the 13th Annual International Business Awards (IBA), also known as the International Stevies. It was the only Philippine real-estate company that made it to this year’s list of IBA winners.
The highly coveted Stevie, regarded as the world’s premier business award, recognizes and generates public awareness about excellence in the workplace worldwide.
ALI was given a Gold Award for its corporate web site, as well as Bronze Awards for both its annual report and corporate video. Subsidiary Avida Land won a Silver Award and a Bronze Award in Real Estate Marketing Campaign of the Year and Website Awards categories, respectively, while Ayala Land Premier won a Bronze Award in Best Marketing and Sales Kit category.
The company’s marketing campaigns and communications tools were cited for quality in design and execution, and focus on the customer while effectively conveying the excellence of the brand.
“We thank the International Business Awards for recognizing our efforts to exceed global standards and practices, not just in marketing and communications, but in all aspects of our business,” said Bernard Vincent O. Dy, ALI president and CEO.
The IBA received more than 3,800 entries from organizations in more than 60 nations and territories this year. Over 200 executives around the world participated in the IBA judging process in 2016. Finalists were determined by more than 100 preliminary-round judges. Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners were placed from among the finalists by more than 100 executives on a number of specialized final judging committees.
“This year’s IBA judges were treated to many remarkable and inspiring stories of achievement around the world,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “We look forward to sharing many of these stories with people around the world over the coming months, through the Stevie Awards blog and social-media channels, with the hope they will inspire and instruct the next generation of business achievers.”
The Stevie Awards, derived from the Greek word “crowned,” will honor this year’s winners at an awards banquet in Rome, Italy, on October 21.
