BARELY a week after it released two revenue issuances that reduced the documentary requirements and processing time of Tax Clearance Certificates (TCC) and of Certificates Authorizing Registration, the Bureau of Internal Revenue on Friday announced it will issue International Carrier’s Special Certificates (ICSC) and International General Carrier’s Certificate (IGCC) within the same day of filing.
Applications for the ICSC and IGCC shall be submitted directly to the Office of the Commissioner of Internal Revenue. Applications must contain all the required documents and submitted on or before 2 o’clock in the afternoon to ensure its release on the same day.
Those received after 2 o’clock in the afternoon will still be processed during the day.
However, release on the same day will depend on the volume of applications received for that day. These applications are guaranteed to be released no later than the first hour of the following day.
Commissioner Caesar R. Dulay said his office is coming up with more revenue issuances in the coming days to cut down red tape by reducing the number of documents or remove redundant or unnecessary requirements.
He also vowed to reduce the processing time in line with the President Duterte’s call to fast track processing of transactions in the government service.
