FLAT LCD
screens installed in elevator lobbies of popular corporate
towers and high-traffic office buildings that show weather
forecast and other relevant and up-to-the-minute breaking
news have become a trend-setting medium that largely
benefits office workers and visitors alike.
Internet-enabled digital out-of-home (OOH) media presence
in the central business areas is likewise envisioned to
become a major alternative medium for relevant information
and other Internet-based contents catering to the
fast-paced lifestyles of today’s working class and
entrepreneurs.
Focalcast
Inc., the new media company that is now bridging
ultra-modern office and commercial buildings via
cutting-edge Internet technologies, has added four new
Makati buildings recently to its rapidly growing network
of corporate edifices, which include the Ayala Life-FGU
Center, Rufino Pacific Tower and GT Tower International on
Ayala Avenue, and Petron Mega Plaza on Gil Puyat Avenue.
These
landmark structures join 16 other Focalcast-equipped
buildings in Makati and Ortigas, which include LKG Tower,
Burgundy Corporate Tower, Trafalgar Plaza, V.A. Rufino
Building, Cityland 10, Jollibee Plaza, Raffles Corporate
Center, Antel Global Corporate Center and JMT Building, at
the forefront.
Focalcast
will further boost its internet-enabled digital OOH media
presence in the central business districts in the coming
months. Through the Internet, Focalcast’s flat LCD screens
installed in elevator lobbies of its corporate network
simultaneously deliver news, building messages and other
information to tenants while waiting for their elevator
ride.
“Our
building is well-suited to Focalcast’s technology, since
many of our tenants are professionals who want
up-to-the-minute news. They tend to be tech-savvy and want
access to the latest high-tech innovations. Thus Focalcast
is a highly engaging and compelling amenity for our
tenants,” said Angelo Arevalo, building administrator of
Ayala Life-FGU
Center.
The prestigious corporate tower, managed by Ayala Property
Management Corp., has more than 32 stories of Class A
office space right in the heart of Ayala Avenue.
Focalcast
managing director Dante Wong welcomes the addition of the
four new prestigious locations in the company’s growing
network of building partners. “Focalcast helps corporate
buildings reach out to their tenants and visitors
effectively by delivering useful and timely information
through high-resolution LCD screens,” Wong added.
Focalcast’s technology, which is the first in the country
to deliver Internet content via digital screens installed
in elevator lobbies, is easily incorporated in the design
of corporate towers. The Focalcast corporate media network
transmits breaking news headlines, weather forecasts and a
wide variety of information to business professionals and
office workers. Media partners include Inquirer.net,
Pagasa and Solar Sports.
