    Ryan, Piolo bury the hatchet

    All’s well that ends well.

The feud between Ryan Agoncillo and Piolo Pascual finally ended. This happened during the wake of Maja Salvador’s father.

It should be remembered that the feud between Judy Ann Santos’s leading men started when Ryan allegedly coerced Judy Ann to edit out her torrid kissing scenes with Piolo. Piolo then made a comment regarding Judy Ann’s relationship. Annoyed by what Ryan interpreted as Piolo’s meddling, Ryan fired back by describing Piolo’s actions as “ungentlemanly” and declaring he will “put him in his place.”

RYAN AGONCILLO and Judy Ann Santos

Finally, you and Piolo are friends again. How did this happen?

I don’t want to divulge details on how it happened or even what we talked about that sparked our being friends again. All I can say it’s over now. Tapos na.

How do you feel that your feud is finally over?

Well, all I can say is, it’s over now. Tapos na! (Laughs)

Before your reconciliation, both of you maintained a civil silence and your feud didn’t escalate into a full-blown word war….

I was conscious of the fact that a lot of people got and were affected by it. I just thought of Judy Ann’s and her fans’ happiness.

Let’s talk about your movie Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo….

Yes, Juday and I are very excited about this. It’s actually a sequel to our movie last year Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo.

That movie ended with your character and Judy Ann’s having a child. What can we expect from the sequel?

It’s better the second time around! (Chuckles) The movie centers on our characters and how we raise our child and, taking off from the first movie, how we raise our parents. Juday and I had fun doing this movie. More people will definitely relate to this. If they enjoyed the first one, I can guarantee that they’ll enjoy this more.

Speaking of Judy Ann, so when are you two tying the knot?

You know, everyone asks that question and I really can’t answer it. All I know is I love Judy Ann and what we have is very great. Who knows where this will lead us? I know she is the woman I want to spend my life with, but that doesn’t mean tomorrow we have to get married. It’s not that simple. We have a lot of things that we want to do, together and as individuals. The time will come. We both know that and if ever it does, Juday and I will not keep it a secret and will announce it to the whole world.

So what is it with Judy Ann that makes you say she’s the girl for you?

Isn’t it obvious? She’s everything a man would look for in a woman.

RA 9482 Might Save the Philippine Native Dogs

THE grim reality of the dog-meat trade in the Philippines cannot be really seen solely on statistics of slaughtered dogs per day (an average of 300 dogs are killed a day), nor in the blatant practice in existence for nearly three decades now. It can only be seen in the actual state of the dogs recovered during rescue operations.
