THE peso
on Wednesday extended its losses against the dollar and

by the dollar’s decline and global concerns on
inflation. A currency trader from a commercial bank said
the peso slipped on falling oil prices but was later
backed by demand from foreign banks as oil prices
started to stabilize. |
