Pacquiao and Jet Li will appear in
a commercial for San Miguel. The commercial, however, is
set for international release.
Li
arrived in Manila Wednesday but did not say at that time
what his purpose for the visit was.
Details
of the Pacquiao-Li shoot were not disclosed, although
Pacquiao and Li apparently were not able to work
together because a flight delay caused Li to come in
late for the shoot.
At the
time Li arrived, Pacquiao had already left the Makati
City studio, but that won’t pose a problem because
Pacquiao and Li do not have scenes together, although
they will appear in one commercial.
Earlier
this year, Pacquiao appeared in a San Miguel commercial
with boxing rival Erik Morales.
In
another nonboxing activity, Pacquiao will fly next week
to the US to play in a celebrity poker series.
That
would be the last off-ring gig for Pacquiao, who
promised to start training in the US in the next few
weeks if plans push through for a Marco Antonio Barrera
meeting in October. |
