Filipinos in the Nevada area
have one more weapon for fighting homesickness: the first
Jollibee outlet outside California has just opened in Las
Vegas, bringing to 12 the total number of outlets in the
US. Business was remarkable right on opening day, with a
continuous stream of 6,000 guests and posting the highest
opening-day sales in more than 600 Jollibee stores
worldwide. It was also double the usual first-day sales
among US stores. Four more stores are actually being
planned in the US: three in Northern California
(Sacramento, Vallejo and San Bruno), and one in Southern
California. |
