    Senate President Manuel Villar kept his ranking as the richest Senator based on the statement of assets and liabilities filed by members of the chamber, breaching the billion-peso bar for the first time in declaring a net worth of P1,041,383,9246 last year.

    Next to Villar was Sen. Jamby Madrigal, who is locked in an inheritance battle with relatives, with a net worth of P146.5 million; followed by Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr. with P118 million in declared net worth.

    Listed at the 4th slot in the millionaires’ list is Sen. Mar Roxas II who declared total assets amounting to P172.4 million against liabilities totaling P61.7 million or a net worth of P110.7 million.

    Others Senators who posted their net worth below P100 million, were: Juan Ponce Enrile, P98.9 million; Miriam Santiago, P89.4 million; Senate President pro tempore Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada, P83.2 million; Pia Cayetano-Sebastian, P76.4 million; Loren Legarda, P46 million; Edgardo Angara, P44.1 million; Rodolfo Biazon, P28.2 million; Panfilo Lacson, P27.3 million; Richard Gordon, P27 million;

    Juan Miguel Zubiri, P23 million; Alan Peter Cayetano, P16.2M;  Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, P14 million; Senate Majority Leader Francis Pangilinan, P13 million; Gregorio Honasan, P12.2 million; Lito Lapid, P12 million; Senate Minority Leader Aquilino Pimentel, P11.5 million; Joker Arroyo, P11 million; and Francis Escudero, P7.5 million.

    Detained Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV was ranked last in the list of millionaire senators with a net worth of P2.6 million.
