Megan Fox tops ’FHM’s’ sexiest women list
LOS
ANGELES—Megan Fox is the sexiest woman in the world—at

The
Transformers
costar tops FHM’s annual 100 Sexiest Women in the World

last year’s champion, Jessica Alba (No. 3).
Fox
debuted on the annual list in 2006 at No. 68 and ranked

are—in descending order—Jessica Biel, Alba, Elisha
Cuthbert, Scarlett Johansson, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Hilary
Duff, Tricia Helfer, Blake Lively and Kate Beckinsale.
Britney Spears came in last place at No. 100.
The
women from MTV’s The Hills duke it out on the
list with Heidi Montag (No. 44) beating out Audrina
Patridge (No. 80) and Lauren Conrad (No. 95). Current
Dancing with the Stars contestant Shannon Elizabeth (No.
46) returned to the ranking after being absent last
year, joining professional dancers Cheryl Burke (No. 40)
and Karina Smirnoff (No. 78).
FHM said
nearly 9 million votes were cast for the 14th edition of

TO
celebrate the highly anticipated launch of the “It’s a
Small World” attraction at Hong Kong Disneyland,
entertainment sweetheart Nikki Gil of the Philippines,
pop idol Two of Thailand, singer and actress Miriam
Yeung of Hong Kong, along with Malaysian
singer-songwriter Michael Wong gathered to record a
brand-new remix version of the classic Disney song “It’s
a Small World (After All).” The attraction is scheduled
to be opened to the public on April 28.
Renowned
for their exuberance, bright smile and love of children,
the four celebrities will appear at Hong Kong Disneyland
to perform in the “It’s a Small World” Evening
Dedication Celebration, which will be held one day prior
to the official public launch. Their talent and
contemporary musical interpretation of this timeless
Disney classic will help pass on the popular tune to
future generations.
“I grew
up with this classic Disney song, and it never fails to
bring a smile to my face,” said Gil. “It’s an honor to
be participating in the momentous launch of this Disney
occasion, and to help bring happiness, laughter and
mutual understanding to guests all around the world.”
Happy
girl Yeung reminisced with her fellow singing partners
on the profound influence the theme song has had on
Hong Kong.
“Many of
us in Hong Kong grew up with this song and I personally
have a deep affiliation with the Cantonese verses
composed by the legendary lyricist James Wong,” said
Yeung. “It has always reminded me that laughter has the
power to bring people together and has great influence
on those around us.”
Taiwanese love-song guru Wong showed great enthusiasm
and excitement when performing the brand-new remix
version. “I’ve known this song all my life, and it
brings back many happy memories,” said Wong. “It was
wonderful to have had the opportunity to sail through
the ‘It’s a Small World’ attraction while listening to
the theme song. I felt as if I had been transported into
a colorful world, as seen from the whimsical perspective
of a child.”
While
filming the music video, all four celebrities were very
eager to visit the “It’s a Small World” attraction and
see the unique elements in Hong Kong Disneyland’s
version.
Gil
enjoyed the entire ride immensely and wanted to try the
attraction again and again. She paid particular interest
to the new versions of the theme song being played
inside the attraction and clapped enthusiastically upon
hearing the theme song in her native language, Tagalog.
The Asia
segment in Hong Kong Disneyland’s version of “It’s a
Small World” is twice the size of those at other Disney
parks around the world. It is also the first time that
Disney characters have been introduced to the
attraction. |
