fight of the year!
The
ever-controversial actress Gretchen Barretto
has declared war on Nadia Montenegro. It will be
remembered that the two had been BFFs—that is, until
recently when a lot of issues were raised against
Gretchen. There’s the issue that she reportedly had an
affair with Dodie Puno, which supposedly prompted
live-in partner Tony Boy Cojuangco to kick her out of
their home.
Of
course, Gretchen denies all of these. While she
acknowledges that there are some obstacles in their
relationship, she maintains that she and Tony Boy are
working it out and that they’re very much together.
Now
where did all this talk come from? Gretchen is convinced
Nadia Montenegro is the rumor-monger and even went on to
say that she even has proof. According to reports,
Gretchen is saying that Nadia did all these because she
wasn’t able to help her from a financial predicament.
Recently, Nadia and Gretchen met up in a hotel to
confront each other and, hopefully, resolve the issues
between them. Of course, nothing of the sort happened.
An alleged shouting match ensued and people thought it
was the start of World War III!
In the
supposed “meeting,” Gretchen allegedly opened the issue
that Nadia reportedly had a child with Baron Geisler?!?!?!
To that, Nadia reportedly answered, “You don’t know how
to love!” Gretchen allegedly fired back, “You don’t know
how to love! You just know how to f__k!”
Are
these true?!?! We don’t know. There is even a report
going around that Gretchen reminded Nadia it was she who
helped her when Nadia was in debt to the tune of P90
million!
Anyway,
people are trying to get the side of Nadia. Her manager,
Douglas Quijano, through a friend, said that he himself
couldn’t contact his ward. And when asked for a
statement on the alleged incident, Douglas refused to
give one, as he is close to both women.
What
will happen next? As they say, abangan!

on a quest to find the next Del Monte Fit ’n Right
Ambassador through the Del Monte ‘Got 2B Fit’ Challenge
2008. The program is a tie-up between ABS-CBN and Del
Monte Fit ’n Right, the first and only juice drink with
the revolutionary L-carnitine that helps burn fat.
From the
thousands who auditioned, only five boys and five girls
were chosen to sweat it out in a one-month reality-based
fitness competition in the Fit ’n Right Camp that will
help them get the body they’ve always wanted. This
challenge will not only test their endurance, but also
their will power. With Del Monte’s aim to improve the
participants’ physical appearance, well-being and
character, they will all soon emerge fit, firm, fab and
famous.
Launched
on Saturday, Del Monte ‘Got 2B Fit’ Challenge airs for
four Saturdays, 9:30 to 10 pm.
At the
conclusion of the challenge, one male and one female
will be announced as the ultimate winners in the grand
finals to be held in Boracay. This culminating event
will be aired in a one-hour special on March 29. The
winners will each receive P500,000 cash, an ABS-CBN Star
Magic management contract, and a chance to be the next
Del Monte Fit ’n Right Ambassador.
The
contestants are Joanne Ignacio, a former fitness
instructor who gained weight due to several injuries;
Angel Landayan, whose boyfriend left her because of her
weight gain; Alex Lindenberg, a half-Italian and
half-Filipino who would do everything, even bare his bod,
to win; and Amy Macuto, a cute and sassy mom from Davao.
Account
executive JB Marfori, licensed engineer Jim Oller,
call-center agent Julie Puentenegra, and former models
Elmer Sanga, John Seprado and Gayle Valencia are also
part of the top 10, and stand a chance to win in the
show. |
