Impassable.
Incessant
rains in Baguio and Benguet for more than a week now
caused this section of Marcos Highway along Taloy Sur to
finally give way. Residents said this particular section
had slowly started to cave in the past months, but
finally came crashing on Wednesday. Because of the huge
section affected, the Department of Public Works and
Highways had no choice but to close Marcos Highway to
traffic until further notice.
